About Salvatore by Prima Bella

All Salvatore® products are imported and distributed by Prima Bella, which was formed in 1992 by Salvatore Di Bella.
The Salvatore® brand is also named after Salvatore Di Bella.

Today, our Salvatore® brand logo is a stylised version of Salvatore’s original signature and is a registered trademark.

Prima Bella was formed because we noticed that showers and their fittings were overpriced in South Africa, and the only shower ranges available were boring and uninspiring. Unlike most of our competitors, our bathroom range focuses almost exclusively on showers, along with our bathroom vanities. And as a nod to our heritage, all Salvatore products are designed exclusively in Italy.

Prima Bella’s headquarters are based in Ekurhuleni Metropolitan, just east of the Johannesburg CBD. We also have a Cape Town office in Montague Gardens, a regional manager in Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal, and are continually looking to expand our footprint.

We use only the best quality aluminium and glass for our semi-frameless doors. All our bath screens are made from extra thick 6mm glass which makes them exceptionally sturdy. Our frameless showers are made from tempered glass and the highest grade of polished aluminium ensure that they’re immensely strong. Some of our bathroom mirrors also feature fluorescent touch-activated lights, which are ultra-handy if you’re applying make-up or using your mirror for other close-up tasks. All our bathroom vanities are made from Malaysian Oak. This wood has a dense grain and very little shrinkage, which makes it extremely sturdy.
